TRUE NORTH'S STORY
Hello! My name is Nicole Ziemer and I am a breeder in training under the mentorship of Strauss Haus - Solace Shiloh Shepherds, which is owned/ran by Laura Kathyrn and Jessica Strauss. Together, Laura and Jessica have a combined 40 years of experience in breeding Shiloh Shepherds. In fact, they learned and worked with the founder of the breed, Tina Barber.

I live in Stillwater, Minnesota, nestled in the beautiful valley of the St. Croix River where I reside with my Shiloh Shepherd's Liberty and Valor, and my English Springer Spaniel, Arlo.
A Little About Myself:
I've been a dog lover all my life. Some of my earliest and fondest childhood memories are that of my dogs and the adventures we would go on. I grew up with English Springer Spaniels. My love of dogs was learned and passed down through my father. The unconditional love, loyalty, and friendship that dogs provided in my life is something I knew I never wanted to live without. Since the age of two years old, I've always had a dog by myside and I wouldn't have it any other way!

While dogs are certainly a love and passion of mine, so is serving the people of the United States. I have been in the Minnesota Army National Guard since 2012 and continue to serve. I also work for the Department of Veteran Affairs, which gives me the honor to serve my fellow Veterans and their families. In 2022 I was able to combine my passions by introducing the Shiloh Shepherd breed to the Veteran community. Liberty has provided love and support to many Veterans and their families with reoccurring visits to Veterans Homes and events.
