How it Works

If you would like to be put on the list for a puppy, please fill out the online Puppy Application. Along with submitting your application, please secure your place on a puppy list with a deposit. You can fill out the online application or print out our Puppy Application and scan/email it to us or mail it to us. Please note that within the application there are questions regarding information about your past or current veterinarian. We will be reaching out to this veterinarian and be asking them a few questions on your past history with your animals. Please notify this veterinarian that we will be calling.

Before you are placed on our list for a puppy, a deposit of $500 must be received. Deposits may be sent via PayPal to truenorthshilohshepherds.com, through Zelle (contact us for Zelle payments) or through my Intuit QuickBooks portal (contact us for the portal link). Please note, we do not take PayPal for final payments, but final payments can be made via cashiers checks, Zelle or QuickBooks Portal (you will get an invoice via email with the link for the portal). Please contact us for the mailing address for cashiers checks. Please note we do not accept personal checks.

Deposits and Payment

To reserve a space on our puppy list, a $500 non-refundable deposit is required. There is no guarantee that you will get a puppy from any certain litter. Deposits put you on a list, but do not guarantee a puppy from a given litter. Refunds will be made if we do not have a puppy for you within a year of receiving your deposit, but not if you change your mind. Please note you can transfer/roll over your deposit to a different litter.
Prices start at $4,000.00. Total price includes local and state sales tax, first set of vaccines and microchip. Please note you will also need to sign a puppy contract.
Final payment must be received two weeks prior to the litter evaluation and puppies will be sent to their homes the week following the litter evaluation.

Puppy Pick Up Information:

The Litter Evaluations are done at approximately 8 weeks of age. Puppies can be picked up the week after the Litter Evaluation which is at the eight week mark. Arrangements must be made ahead of time.
If you cannot receive your pup by the second week following the Litter Evaluation, we will board your puppy for a rate of $25 a day.
True North does NOT ship puppies.
I will meet you at Minneapolis airport if you choose to fly in cabin with your puppy or hire a puppy flight nanny to fly with your puppy in cabin to their final destination. If you need more information regarding these options, please feel free to reach out.
